Mr. Mischief is part of the Mr. Men series by Roger Hargreaves. The story follows a small, sneaky character named Mr. Mischief who loves to play tricks on others. He is always up to something naughty—swapping sugar for salt, putting mustard in chocolates, and generally causing harmless trouble for his friends.
But Mr. Mischief meets his match when he tries to trick a wizard. The wizard does not take kindly to the prank and decides to teach Mr. Mischief a lesson by using magic to play tricks back on him. Mr. Mischief ends up being on the receiving end of his own mischief—and learns that getting a taste of his own medicine is not so fun after all.
The story ends on a humorous note, showing that while Mr. Mischief might not fully change his ways, he now knows what it feels like when the joke is on him
The author, late Roger Hargreaves created the Mr. Men series for his son, Adam, who currently oversees the estate and creates illustrations for new Mr. Men books.
